Natalya Vladimirovna Khvatova

The theme of her graduation diploma work is "The tale of Tsar Saltan". At present Natalya Vladimirovna works at the Mstera factory and at home.

The works of her father V.I. Shalaev had a great influence upon Khvatova's individual style.

The artist paints in the traditional manner of Mstera lacquer tempera miniature. She finds the themes of her works among fairy tales and biblical subjects. Natalya Vladimirovna uses a wide spectrum of colors predominated by blue and ultramarine. Khvatova thinks that each master has his own hand and it's very important for any painter to follow his specific style. The method of painting by means of putting points is her individual artistic device. Khvatova considers her work to be finished when she has realized all her fantasies and artistic projects. She wants viewers to understand her emotions and ideas expressed by paints on the black lacquer of a casket. It usually takes her two weeks to create a piece. The works of Khvatova stand out for interesting subjects, rich coloring and high quality of execution.

Natalya Vladimirovna Khvatova likes to spend her free time with her family.

Khvatova wishes her admires to be kind and happy.
