Serebryakov Ivan Grigorievich - icon-painter, lacquer miniature artist. Born in the village of Palekh, Vladimir Guberniya, in June 1985, died there on October 10, 1947.

Portraitist at the workshop of the Belousov brothers. Member of the Ancient Painting Guild since 1932.

Themes of his works: genre scenes, portraits of A.F. Pisemsky, M.I. Kutuzov, G.K. Zhukov, N.A. Nekrasov, N.V. Gogol, van Dyck; ("The ploughman", "The little hamlet", "Deer hunting").

Began exhibiting in 1933.

I.G. Serebryakov's works are exhibited in the State Museum of Palekh Art, the All-Russia A.S. Pushkin Museum in St. Petersburg, the A.M. Gorky Museum, the Folk Art Museum (Moscow), the State Russian Museum, the State Historical and Art Museum-Preserve (Sergiev Posad) and the Central Museum of the Armed Forces.
