Description:

This box was painted by artist Tatiana Kosheleva from Fedoskino village. She was born in 1965 and has finished Fedoskino Art School in 1986 under the guidance of her teachers Shagin,Gorodilin and Marchukov. This magnificent box is called "Musicians", and shows three old fashioned musicians plaing russian folk music instruments. Gold paint highlights clothing and instruments. The painting is extended on the box sides. Box itself is made from paper-mache. Green lacquer covers the exterior and gold lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box rests on a flat bottom. It is signed, titled and dated (1999) on the bottom by the artist.
