Description:

This elegantly shaped box was painted by talented Fedoskino artist Simonova.
The exterior (lid and sides) is covered with emerald oils and studded with silver spots.
Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box.
The square scene, the edges of the lid and the sides are covered with beautiful gold ornamentation highlighted with aluminum paint. The elegantly shaped box is made out of paper-mache.
The box is hinged from the top of the composition and rests on four legs. The box is signed with the artist's name (Simonova), village (Fedoskino) and year (2000).
Note: This box has been made in the Art Workshop of Sergey Tyurin.
