The snow and the winter trees are painted in white and blue paints. The sky is painted against the silver metal paint. The contrast of blue colors against the white and red against the silver paint making interesting visual effect. The exterior bottom of the box is divided in two parts-gray and blue. The box is made out of paper-mache. Red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the top of the composition and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the name of the artist at the bottom of the composition.
