We are glad to represent You this splendid Fedoskino piece with scenes from tale of Sadko. Solodilov's miniatures are immediately recognizable for his grave painting style and uniquely shaped boxes. This piece is no exception, with its sternly painted figures and one-of-a- kind box hand-crafted with mother-of-pearl sides. On the lid is Sadko himself, shipwrecked with his saltyr. On the sides Tsar Morskoi and two of his daughters are visible. The top of the piece opens to reveal a small compartment.
