This splendid box created by Igor Evmenenko from the village of Fedoskino. It shows the dragonflies hovering over flowers. The scene is painted in bright oils in the realistic style with photo quality accuracy. The fragile, transparent wings of the dragonflies are detailed with gold paints. The painting is extended on the box's sides where the artist continues to draw flowers and various insects. An enchanting work. The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. A hinge is fastened to the top of the composition. The box rests on flat bottom. The work is signed with the name of the artist, and the year of 2007.
