Featuring a wide variety of colorful objects, this lovely scene was painted by Fedoskino artist Danshin. The scene is beautifully painted with perfect command of lighting, shadow, texture and harmony of color.

The sides and bottom of the box are painted with an oil-resist mixture that gives the box the look of stone. The bottom has a red circle in the middle with the artist's initials and the year; full signature is on the lid.
