Description:

This magnificent box is the creation of talented Alexey Chirkov from the village of Fedoskino. It features the picturesque views of old Moscow. On the right front angle of the box the artist has paints the sheet of paper on which he writes the title of the box "Taking a Walk in Old Moscow. The first tram-line in Moscow located in Malaya Dmitrovka Street". Painting encompasses the entire box, except for the bottom. The artist uses a very unique palette that mainly consists of silver metal, gold metal and white oil paints. The exterior bottom of the box is covered with gray paint; on the box's exterior bottom the artist writes his name, the year of 2006, the Fedoskino lacquer miniature along with the second title of the work "Walking along Malaya Dmitrovka Street". The interior of the box is covered with red lacquer. The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the composition and the box rests on a flat bottom.
