A young maiden's suitor momentarily interrupts her from tending to her tea stand where she sells tea, biscuits, and various other items to shoppers and fellow vendors alike. The box is not only beautiful with its palette of light and colorful pastels, but is a window into Russian culture: traditional Russian attire, the unmistak- able samovar, the tasty bulochki on a string, and even a balalaika are all featured on this five-sided composition.
