Sergeeva Rita Ivanovna (1958 - ...)  Click to play

Sergeeva Rita Ivanovna was born in 1958 in the town of Makeevka, Donetsk Region. Now she resides in the town of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Region.

In 1979 the artist finished the Art School. Her diploma work was a costume’s sketch to the tale by K. Gotsi “Love for tree oranges”.

Sergeeva R.I. is rewarded with a silver medal for her participation in the national exhibition MKR in India.

Rita Ivanovna works at home. She uses in painting tempera paints, akril and watercolor. She likes to depict scenes from peasant life.

The artist thinks the most important elements in work are reflection of peasant life, depiction of a costume, expression of a character’s temper.

R.I. Sergeeva applies in work her personal artistic methods. She prefers to use in painting natural and realistic tones. Her works are notable for peculiar style of painting and execution of high quality.

Rita Ivanovna supposes people will estimate her works for thinness of painting, interesting themes and quality.

Creative work of Russian painter Plastov had a great influence on R.I. Sergeeva’s painting.

In her free time the artist likes to visit museums.
