Tatyana Fyodorova was born in 1957 in the small city of Shatura, in the Moscow region. From her childhood the artist was interested in art. Most of all she liked painting and ballet. In 1974 Tatyana entered the Fedoskino Art School. Her teachers were B.P. Gorodilin and G.I. Larishev. Alla Kozlova was her classmate. Graduated from the Fedoskino Art School in 1978.
After graduation, Fyodorova began working in the “creative group” at the Fedoskino factory of lacquer miniature painting under G. Larishev. T. Fyodorova’s works are kept in private collections of Russia, Holland, England, the USA, and Norway. Tatyana prefers to depict the scenes from Russian classical literature.
She enjoys reading and re-reading great Russian writers. Their works inspire her to create lacquer miniatures. Tatyana also likes to depict flowers on big and small boxes, eggs and plates. Flowers touch her by their natural and luxuriant colors. Tatyana's daughter is also a talented artist, and Tatyana’s shared her experience of miniature painting with her. In her free time Tatyana likes to go to the theatre.
