Korolyova Elena Borisovna was born in 1959 in the Ulyanovsk Region.
She currently resides in the village of Fedoskino and works at the Fedoskino Factory of Miniature Art.
In 1980, Elena Borisovna graduated with a first-class honors degree from the Fedoskino Art School, where she studied under V.P. Frolov and V.S. Kulgavov. Her diploma work was called "Wedding."
Korolyova has received several titles and awards. Her works are exhibited in the Fedoskino Museum and in private collections all over the world.
Korolyova paints in the style of Fedoskino lacquered miniature and uses oil paints. She prefers to paint with light tones and her favorite subjects to depict are genre scenes and portraits. The artist considers that realism is the most important element in her works.
When beginning a new piece, she always intends to bring people happiness and joy with her artwork.
Korolyova employs a special technique in painting called "lessirovka." On average, the master works on a miniature between a week and a month.
The creative work of such great artist as Monet, Soloninkin and Kulgavov (her teacher) have influenced Korolyova's individual style. Elena Borisovna believes that her admirers will remember her fine brush mastery, clearness of composition, and graceful execution of her pieces.
In her free time, Korolyova likes to read, walk and visit different exhibitions. The master wishes for her admires to have a love for Russian art.
