Sidorov Sergey Mikhailovich was born in 1955 in the village of Talmenka, Altaisky territory.
At present the artist lives in the village of Fedoskino, Moscow region and works at the Fedoskino factory of miniature art.
In 1982 Sergey Mikhailovich left the MTU faculty. His teachers were N.P. Mitrofanov and V.K. Smolenskaya. Sidorov's diploma work was called "Battle on the Ice".
The master works in the style of Fedoskino lacquer miniature and uses oil paints. His favorite themes to depict are Russian history and folklore.
Sergey Mikhailovich thinks composition, drawing and color treatment are the most important elements in his works.
