Solodilov Yevgeniy Alexandrovich was born in 1967 in the town of Sochi situated in the Krasnodarsky territory. Now he currently resides in the village of Fedoskino.
In 1988 the artist graduated from the Fedoskino Art School where he studied under D.V. Rogatov. He paints in the traditions of Fedoskino style and uses oil pants.
Solodilov paints only original master works. He likes to depict themes of national folklore and characters of Russian fairy-tales. Correspondence of a subject with a box's shape and aim of work are the most important elements in his production. The painter considers the work to be finished when its primary idea is realized completely.
Starting a new composition he intends to transmit mood of a subject and to express images of characters as vividly and laconically as possible.
The artist uses a wide spectrum of colors but prefers to work with cold green and blue tones. Yevgeniy Alexandrovich has his own unique technique in painting, which is called "turbid lessirovka". This method helps to accentuate center of a composition.
The master would like people to remember form of his boxes, colors, paints, originality as well as qualitative execution itself.
In his free time Yevgeniy Alexandrovich regularly attends gym.
