Zhukova Anna Pavlovna
was born in 1974 in the town of Kaluga, where she lives now.
In 1955 Anna graduated from the Art School (a brunch of the Fedoskino Art School in Kaluga), she studied there under L.I. Menshova. Zhukova paints in the style of Fedoskino lacquer miniature, using oil paints in her works.
In compositions she prefers to use complex colors. The master is interesting in painting on the themes of genre scenes and portraits. Anna has produced some author works; among them are miniatures called "Mirror" (1997), "Bullfinch" (1997), and "Winter" (1998).
As an artist, upon starting a new piece, Zhukova intends to create something absolutely new. Anna thinks a miniature is finished when she likes it herself. The sense of reality in her productions is very significant for the author.
It is easy to distinguish her pieces from other works by brightness and vivacity of their colors.
Zhukova hopes admirers of her artwork will estimate colors and high quality execution of boxes at their true worth. In her spare time Anna likes to go the exhibitions and to bring up her child. She wishes health and prosperity to all collectors of miniature art.
