Dmitriev Sergey was born in the town of Yuzha, Ivanovo Region, in 1963.
The artist finished the Kholui Art School in 1984.
His teachers were Boris Kiseleov, Denisov N.N., Yolkin V.A. and Mityashin P.A.
His Diploma work was composition "Alexander Nevskiy".
Dmitriev is a member of the Artists' Union of Russia.
Sergey began working at the Kholui Art Workshops in 1984.
Participant of the exhibitions since 1985.
Major works are: "Alexander Nevsky" (1985), "The Tale of the Sleeping Beauty" (1986),
"Ilya of Murom" (1985), "Shrovetide" (1987),
"The Snowmaiden" (1989 and version 2000),"Stenka Razin"(2000).
In his free time the artist likes to take photographs.
Dmitriev's works are exhibited in the Kholui Art Museum,
the Plyos State History, Architecture and Art Museum-Preserve, the State Russian
Museum and All-Russia Museum of Decorative,Applied and Folk Art in Moscow.
