Anatoliy Kamorin, renowned miniature artist and former director of the Kholuy Arts and Crafts Center (1959-1991). Born in Yuzha, Ivanovo region, in 1930. Graduated from the Kholuy Art School in 1950, and joined the Kholuy lacquer miniature factory in 1954. Kamorin was factory art director from 1957-1959, and became director in 1959.
Kamorin is a candidate member of the RSFSR Artists' Union since 1959, and is a merited Cultural Worker of the RSFSR. His major works include "Bogatyr Picket" (1957), "The View of Kholuy" (1957), "The Golden Hair" (1957), "Svyatogor" (1963), and "Spaceflight" (1966).
