Boris Kharchev, miniature artist, was born in the village of Mugreevo, Ivanovo region, in 1948. He finished the Kholuy Art School in 1972, where his teacher was V.P. Bugayev. In the same year he entered the Kholuy lacquer miniature factory.
Member of the Kholuy branch of the RSFSR Artists' Union since 1988, and member of the RSFSR Artists' Union since 1988. Kharchev has participated in exhibitions since 1985. Major works include: "Skomorokhi" (1986), "The Lay of Igor's Host" (1986), "Tales of the Urals" (1987), "Sinyushkin's Well" (1988).
