Kiselev Vladimir Vyacheslavovich was born in 1969 in the town of Vichuga, Ivanovo Region. Now he lives in the village of Kholuy, Ivanovo Region.
In 1990 the artist finished the Kholuy Art School where he studied under Fiskov V.T., Gurylev V.M., Semenov A.I. and Pechkin M.B. His diploma work was a composition entitled “Lady into Lassie” (after A. Pushkin).
Vladimir Vyacheslavovich works at the Kholuy Craft Workshops.
He paints in the style of Kholuy lacquered miniature, using tempera paints. Themes of his works are fairy-tales and north motifs. His favorite subject is a north landscape.
Presence of animals and elements of nature is very important for Vladimir Vyacheslavovich Beginning to paint a composition, he intends to reflect all diversity of nature. Finishes working, after decorating a box with ornaments and putting all last strokes.
The artist uses in painting his personal artistic methods. He prefers to paint his compositions in restrained tones. His favorite paints are blue and green.
Vladimir Vyacheslavovich thinks his works are notable for peculiar style of painting. On the average it takes him 2 weeks to paint a box.
In his free time the artist likes listening to the music.
