Kokoreva Irina Nikolaevna was born in 1961 in the village of Kholuy, Ivanovo Region and resides there at present.
In 1980 the artist finished the Kholuy Art School. Her teacher was V.A. Belov. Her diploma work was a composition entitled "Yaroslavna's crying".
Now Irina Nikolaevna works at the Kholuy Craft Workshops.
The artist paints in the style of Kholuy lacquered miniature, using tempera paints. She paints on a variety of themes, but prefers to depict fairy-tales.
Irina Nikolaevna thinks that the right choice of colors is the most important stage in painting. She prefers paint her compositions in bright and mellow tones, that is why it is easy to recognize her works owing to peculiar brightness of color treatment.

Works by Baburin N.I. and Belov V.A. had a great influence on I.N. Kokoreva's creative work.
In her free time the painter likes to read and knit.
Irina Nikolaevna wishes to all admires of lacquer miniature art to get pleasure from acquired boxes.
