Kuznetsova Elvira Stanislavovna was born in 1962 in the town of Yuzha where she resides at present.
In 1981 the artist finished the Kholuy Art School. Her teachers were Denisov N.N., Kiselev B.I., Semenov A.I, Zhivnostka A.I, Gunin M.N.. Her diploma work was a composition entitled "Princess Frog".
Now the artist works at the Kholuy Craft Workshops.
Elvira Stanislavovna works in the style of Kholuy lacquer miniature using egg-tempera paints. Her favorite themes are fairy-tales, legends and bylinas.
The artist thinks that choice of a theme is the most important stage in work. Beginning to work on a new composition, she intends to paint and decorate it beautifully and to express the chosen theme keeping to the traditions of Kholuy lacquer miniature. Finishes her work, when every minute detail of the composition is elaborated and a depicted scene corresponds to the planned idea.
It usually takes her from 3 to 7 days to paint a miniature, everything depends on a theme's complexity.
Painting of such famous Kholuy artists as Baburin N.I., Denisov N.N., Kiselev B.I had a great influence on E.S. Kuznetsova creative work.
Elvira Stanislavovna applies in painting her personal technique. Her favorite colors are blue, tints of green and gold. The artist thinks her artworks are notable for original style of painting and color treatment.
Her free time Elvira Stanislavovna spends with her children and husband. She likes to grow plants, rest on the riverside and travel through Russia.
