Rodionova Marina Nikolaevna was born in the town of Novosibirsk in 1971. Now she resides in the village of Kholui, Ivanovo Region.
Marina has finished the Kholui Art School in 1993. She studied under such remarkable artists as Gunin M.N., Rodionov V.A. The graduation project of Rodionova was the box entitled "Sivka-Burka".
Some of the more creative works of Rodionova include: "Young people's gathering" (1997), "In the edge of the forest" (1997), "Humpbacked little pony" (1998), "Inspector" (1999), "Tea drinking" (1997).
Marina paints her works in the traditions of Kholui lacquered miniature, using tempera paints. She prefers to depict in her works fairy-tales, landscapes and lyric subjects.
While working on a lacquered miniature the artist pays a special attention to the depiction of main characters of a chosen fairy-tale.
Beginning to paint the Artist intends to express a chosen theme in creative and original way. Considers her work to be done, when the painting is finished and signed.
The artist likes to use in painting blue, ochre, green and orange tones. She thinks her works are notable for peculiar technique of painting, interesting themes, coloring and precision of drawing.
Rodionova supposes that works by the famous Kholui artist Mulyushina Tatiana had a great influence on her maturation as an artist.
In her free time the artist likes to go for a walk, travel and watch TV.
Marina wishes to collectors and all admirers of a lacquered miniature realization of all their dreams. She hopes they will take more interest in art and buy more works by Kholui artists.
