Savelicheva Elena Rudolfovna was born in 1966 in the village of Kholuy, Ivanovo Region. Now the artist resides in the town of Yuzha.
In 1986 Elena Rudolfovna finished the Kholuy Art School. Her teachers were Sedov V.N., Babarkin V.P., Fiskov V.T., Zhivnostka L.M and Serkina T.A. Her diploma work was a composition entitled "Tales are around us".
At present Elena Rudolfovna works at the Kholuy Craft Workshops.
The artist paints in the style of Kholuy lacquered miniature, using tempera paints. She paints on a variety of themes, but prefers to depict fairy-tales.
Elena Rudolfovna uses in painting a wide spectrum of colors and applies her personal artistic methods. She considers her work to be finished when any additional detail is unnecessary.
Works by the famous Kholuy artists Sedov V.N. and Mityashin P.A. had a great influence on E.R. Savelicheva's creative work.
In her free time the artist is engaged in building a new house and works in her kitchen garden. She also likes to spend her free time with her son.
Elena Rudolfovna wishes to all admires of lacquer miniature art to get aesthetic pleasure from acquired boxes.
