Soboleva Tatyana Alexeevna was born in the town of Yuzha, Ivanovo Region, where she lives at present.
In 1972 the artist finished the Kholuy Art School. Her teachers were Turunov Igor Ivanovich, Kosterin Alexey Mikhailovich, Semenov Anatoliy Ivanovich. T.A. Soboleva's diploma work was a plate, entitled "A.S. Pushkin's fairy-tales".
Now the artist works at the Kholuy Craft Workshops.
Tatyana Alexeevna paints in the style of Kholuy lacquered miniature, using tempera paints. She paints on a variety of themes, but prefers to depict fairy-tales.
The artist thinks that quality of painting is the most important element in work at lacquered miniature. Beginning to paint a new composition, she intends to draw it beautifully and qualitatively.
Tatyana Alexeevna uses in painting her personal artistic method, which is called "pure roskrysh" (icon-painting method - initial and even distribution of paints on a box's surface). She paints her compositions in clear and bright colors. Her works are easily recognizable owing to peculiar technique of painting.
In her free time the artist likes to read.
Tatyana Alexeevna wishes to admires of Russian lacquered miniatures to get pleasure from acquired boxes.
