Zhivnostka was born in Yuzha. Graduated from the Kholuy Art School in 1984, where he studied under P.A. Mityashin. Worked in the Kholuy lacquer miniture factory from 1984 through 1988. Was accepted in the Kholuy branch of the Union of Artists of Russian Federation in 1988. Was accepted by the Russian Federation Union of Artists in 1990. Works by this artist have been displayed in various exhibitions in Russia and abroad since 1987.
