Bakhilin Konstantin Vecheslavovich was born in 1973 in the village of Manzya, Krasnoyarsk Region. Now he resides in the village of Mstera.
In 1994 the artist finished the Mstera Vocational Art School where he studied under Kuntsevich V.Yu. and Kostakov Yu.I. His diploma work was a composition entitled “A Quarrel of Ilya Muromets with Prince Vladimir".
Konstantin Vecheslavovich is rewarded with the honorary diploma for his participation in the exhibition “Young talents”. His artworks are exhibited in a museum of Yaroslavl.
At present the artist works at the Artists’ Union of Mstera.
Konstantin Vecheslavovich paints in the style of Mstera lacquered miniature, using tempera paints. He likes to paint his compositions in cold tones.
Beginning to paint a new composition, the artist intends to improve quality of painting and his professional level. He appreciates his artworks, mostly, for thinness of painting, range of colors and quality of execution.
Konstantin Vecheslavovich supposes his artworks are easily recognizable because of peculiar style of painting. In his opinion people will remember his compositions owing to thinness of painting and beautiful color treatment.
Works by such prominent painters as L.A. Fomichev, V.F. Nekosov, V.N. Molodkin and A.I. Shirokov had a great influence on K.V. Bakhilin’s creative work.
In his free time Konstantin Vecheslavovich likes to hunt, hunting is his hobby and favorite amusement.
