Bozhevolnova Marina Nikolaevna
Was born in 1966 in the village of Mstera in Vladimir region, where she currently lives with her family.
While attending the Mstera Art School, she studied under Lebedev and Grachev. Marina's diploma work is "Morozko".
After graduating Bozhevolnova joined the Center of Mstera Traditional Miniatures (factory). The painter uses tempera techniques in her artwork, she paints in Mstera style.
So she uses characteristic colors of Mstera lacquered miniature art. Marina is interested in fairy-tale, epic, and lyrical themes.
When she begins a new piece, the artist's main goal is harmony of colors and composition. It is important to note that Bozhevolnova has her personal techniques of painting.
And she considers it is easy to distinguish her works.
Marina thinks a miniature is finished when her heart and intuition suggest her it.
In her free time Bozhevolnova likes to keep house and to rest.
To admirers of her art, she wishes pleasant impressions and good health. She also wants collectors to try to distinguish author work from forgery.
