Yakimochev Anatoliy Konstantinovich was born in 1947 in the village of Shakhmanovo, Gorky Region. Now he resides in the village of Mstera, Vladimir Region.
In 1975 the artist finished the Mstera Art School where he studied under Demidova Lidiya Aleksandrovna. His diploma work was a casket "Victory Day".
Anatoliy was rewarded with the honorary Diploma given by the Union of Artists of the RSFSR and with the Diploma of the second class given by the administration of local Industry.
The artist paints his works in the style of Mstera lacquered miniature using tempera paints. Artist prefers to depict in his miniatures historical subjects, fairy-tales and landscapes. His favorite subject is a landscape.
Anatoly supposes that while working on a miniature it is very important to express general mood of a chosen theme and all emotions that an artist feels having faced with it.
Beginning to paint the artist intends reflect a chosen theme in his work as thoroughly as he can. Finishes painting when he is satisfied with the final result and any additional corrections are unnecessary.
Anatoliy uses in his paintings a wide spectrum of colors,that is why all his works are notable for vividness and expressiveness.
Works by Fomichev Ivan Aleksandrovich had a great influence on formation of the artist’s style of painting.
In his free time Anatoliy likes to paint, to read books and to take photographs.
