An Oleg Vladimirovich
Was born in 1952 in the village of Palekh situated in the Ivanovsky region.
Oleg Vladimirovich graduated from the Palekh Art Shool (1967-1972). On graduation from the Art Shool he began working at the Palekh Art Workshops.
The artist was engaged in monumental painting and the most famous work created by him is - the panel "Architecture" which is kept in the Art Palace in Ivanov.
Oleg An finds the subjects of his pieces in literature, history, folklore and genre scenes. His famous paintings are "My native land", "The Tale of Golden Cockerel", "Clouds under Russia".
His works has been exhibited since 1976. In 1981 he became a member of The Art Union.
You can find the works of this talented artist in the State Museum of Palekh Art, the State Museum of applied and folk arts, The State Plessky Historical Museum and park.
