Arapova Nataliya Nikolaevna was born on December 19, 1961 in the town of Tuapse, Krasnodar Region.
Arapova graduated from Palekh Art School in 1983.
Her box “Meeting with the Sun” won the Diploma of the IX All-Russia exhibition “Russia” (Moscow, 1999).
Participant of Exhibitions since 1984.
An Artist has worked in the Palekh Workshops of lacquer miniature painting in 1983-1989.
Themes of her works: folklore, genre scenes.
Major works are :
- Box “Meeting with the Sun” (1998, the diploma of the IX All-Russia exhibition “Russia” ),
- Box “Sivka-Burka” (together with her husband A.V. Arapov),
- Box “Morning” (1987, the State Museum of Palekh Art),
- Box “Princess Frog” (together with her husband A.V. Arapov).
Nataliya married to Palekh artist Andrey Arapov.
The works are displayed in Palekh State Art Museum and kept in private collections World Wide.
