Artists

Noel Bakhireva was born in 1925 in the village of Pustoshka, in the Pskov Region, and died in Palekh in 1998. She studied at the Palekh Art School from 1945-1949 under I.P Vakurov and A.V. Kotukhin. She began exhibiting in 1965, and her works are now held in the State Museum of Palekh Art.
