Nataliya Borisovna Buldakova was born in 1952 in the village of Palekh in Ivanovo region. She studied in the Palekh Art School (1968-1973) under A.V. Borunov, B.M. Nemtinov, and K.S. Semaikin. Nataliya Borisovna has been working at the Palekh Art Workshops since 1973. The themes she prefers to produce are folklore and genre scenes. The most popular miniatures by Buldakova are "The Masters of Bread Baking", "Sivka-Burka", "Magpies", "Bakers", "Bread is Head for Everything".
The author's works took part in different exhibitions, and afterwards many of them become part of collections of such museums as the State Museum of Palekh Art, Russian Folk Arts and Crafts Museum, Ples State Historical and Architecture Art Museum-Park.
