Vladimir Konstantinovich Kurilov
Born in 1957 in the town of Kineshma in Ivanovo region, at present he lives in the village of Palekh.
Vladimir graduated from the Palekh Art School in 1988, where he studied under B.M. Nemtinov.
Kurilov paints in the style of Palekh School, using tempera art technique. The artist prefers to create pieces on biblical themes. It is very important to reveal artistic images of subjects for the master. Every time he starts a new miniature, the author sets new goals and tries to realize them. An artwork is considered to be finished only when he has taken it to polish.
Although the painter has no any personal techniques, bright coloring and original style can distinguish his works from others. Kurilov thinks admirers of his art will appreciate detailed drawings in his miniatures.
In his free time Vladimir prefers simply to rest.
The master would like people who acquire his works for their private collections to help him in its art.
