Born in 1948 in the village of Katni in the Kirov Region, Nina began studying at the Palekh Art School in 1963. Following her graduation in 1968, she began working at the Palekh Art Workshop. The themes of her works include folklore and genre scenes. The titles of her major works include "Summer Motif", "The Snowmaiden", and "The Fair in Palekh". Her works are held in the collections of the State Museum of Palekh Art, the All-Russia Museum of Decorative and Applied Art, and the Art Foundation of Russia.
