Artist Matushkina was awarded with Diplomas for her successful work in the lacquer miniature painting. Her works are kept in private collections. She began exhibiting in 1991.<
The artist paints her compositions in the style of Palekh lacquered miniature using tempera paints. The themes of her works are genre scenes against a background of nature and landscapes (different seasons).
Nina thinks that the most important stages while working at a lacquered miniature are choice of colors, conveyance the given emotions and moods from chosen themes and technical execution.
Beginning to work on a new project, the artist wants to improve her professional level, not loosing the traditions of Palekh miniature painting. Finishes working, when all her artistic explorations are realized and when she is satisfied with all technical results.
Nina prefers to use in her painting blue, rose, emerald, green and white tones. Coloring of her boxes is unique and that is why a viewer may easily recognize her works.
Works by such prominent artists as Khodov V.M., Livanova I.V, Markichev I.V. had a great influence on the artist's work.
In her free time Nina likes to read and walk in the forest.
To all amateurs of Palekh lacquered miniature the artist wishes to have cheerful and bright disposition in life and to love nature.
