Palikin Valentin Mikhailovich - lacquer miniature artist.
Born in 1913 in the village of Palekh, Vladimir Guberniya; fell at the front in 1942. Became a student of the Artel of Ancient Painting in 1929, his teacher was I.I. Golikov.
Themes of his works: literature, genre scenes, battle scenes, troikas ("The vendor", "Tale of Tsar Saltan").
Exhibited since 1932.
His works are held in All-Russia Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art and State Museum of Palekh Art.
