Vladimir Arkadyavich Paramonov
Paramonov Vladimir Arkadyavich is the master of Palekh lacquer miniature painting.
He was born in 1919.
Paramonov was nominated to join the Artist Union in 1953.
In 1939 he graduated from the Palekh Art School.
He worked as the restorer of tempera painting in the State Museum of Palekh Art (1968-1978).
Paramonov has worked out the method of Palekh lacquers' restoration.
Vladimir Arkadyavich took part in the restoration of the Krestovozdvigensky Cathedral's wall paintings in Palekh (1976).
The artist taught the course "The principles of restoration" in the Palekh Art School (1977-1978).
His works has been exhibited since 1951.
Lacquer boxes by Paramonov are displayed in many museums; among them there are the State Museum of Palekh Art, the State Russian Museum, the Folk Art Museum, The Russian Museum of Ethnography, the Art Fund of the Russian Federation and the Central Museum of Revolution.
