Father of the other famous Palekh artist N.M. Parilov.

Worked at the workshops of brothers Safonov and taught at the school of the Committee of Trusteeship of Russian Icon Painting.

Organized his own workshops where such famous painters as S.P. Bakhirev began their artistic career.

M.I. Parilov's works are exhibited in the central museums of Russia.
