Luidmilla Rodionova was born in 1963, in the town of Kurgan. She lives today in Palekh, which is a part of the Ivanov District. In 1986 she graduated from the Palekh School of Lacuqer Miniatures. Her teachers included M.R. Belousov, T.I. Belousova, and H.M. Smirnov in the field of painting. Her technical and compositional instructors included V.V. Bolshakov, V.M. Khodov, and K.S. Semaikin.
Ludmilla paints with egg-tempera paint and on occasion uses gold to decorate her composition. She likes to paint themes on her boxes that are both original and unique. When she starts a new piece, as an artist she approaches the work with the idea of making something that has never been seen before. Her palette tends to be bright and cool. The detail that she uses to paint the faces in her composition is what sets her painting apart from other artists.
Rodionova feels that her art will be remembered for its fine attention to detail, her color usage, and the quality of her work. In her free time she likes to tend her garden and do small landscape work on it. She wishes that her fans keep interested in her work and that they fill their collections with them , too.
