Artists

Nikolay Shilov was first trained as an iconpainter, and then turned to lacquer miniature. He completed the Committee of the Protection of Russian Iconpainting. He was then a member of the Artel of Ancient Painting from 1932, and participated in various exhibitions beginning in 1933. Shilov's work is on display in the State Museum of Palekh Art and in the Artistic Fund of Russia.
