Alexander Yeremin was born in 1885 in the village of Deryagino, and passed away in his native village. He was a member of the Artel of Ancient Painting since 1932, where his teacher was I. Zubkov. Themes of his work were folklore, literature, and rustic scenes ("Beautiful Helen", "Ludmila and Chernomor", "The Hunter", "By the Brook").
Yeremin had exhibited since 1934. His works are now on display in the State Museum of Palekh Art, the State Russian Museum, and the State Museum of the Revolution of Russia.
